FAQs
Are you regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission)?
Yes, we are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which is the official regulator for health and social care in England. We have been registered since May 2022, but we haven’t been inspected yet — until that happens, we won’t have a published rating. The good news is that this means CQC have no concerns about us - they have a risk based approach to inspection, which means they are prioritising inspecting services they are concerned about. In the meantime, we’re fully committed to providing outstanding care and support, with robust systems, training, and quality assurance already in place to ensure we exceed CQCs standards. If you have any questions about how we work, or would like to speak to families we currently support, we’d be happy to help.
Where do your services cover?
Our team provide companionship, wellbeing support, admin help and live-in care right across the South East of England. If you’re looking for regular daily care, we’re based locally in Ashford, Canterbury, Whitstable and the nearby villages.

How much do your services cost?

Why the toucan?
You're not the first to ask! Toucans embody vibrancy, individuality, and a zest for life - just like the people we support. They are highly social birds, reflecting the warmth and connection at the heart of our team. Toucans also symbolise strength, protection, and reliability, values that shape everything we do at Thrive Homecare.
I'm a solicitor, can I use your services for my clients?

Is there a minimum number of hours per visit?
We offer flexible visit times to suit a range of needs. During your initial consultation, we will discuss what level of support is most suitable and agree on a schedule that works for you. We do prioritise high quality relationships so generally work to visits of at least an hour, though there is some flexibility around this.
