Young Adult Support

Helping young adults build confidence, independence and a life they enjoy

What is Young Adult Support?

We provide one to one support for adults aged 18 and over who may be living with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries or other additional needs.

Every support plan is tailored to the individual. For some people, that might mean developing confidence using public transport or learning to cook independently. For others, it could be enjoying hobbies together, or developing new skills.

Our aim isn't to do things for people. It's to support them to do as much as possible for themselves while providing reassurance, encouragement and practical help along the way.

Why Choose Young Adult Support?

This service is designed around one simple principle: everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full, meaningful and independent life. Choosing Thrive Homecare means choosing support that sees the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

We take time to understand interests, ambitions, strengths and aspirations, creating support that helps people build confidence and enjoy greater independence.

Our team focuses on genuine relationships because trust is the foundation of good support. By providing consistent Health & Wellbeing Associates, we help people feel comfortable, understood and able to thrive.

"I couldn’t speak more highly of Georgina from Thrive. She is just great, she's always the same, enthusiastic and caring, always very helpful. I couldn't ask for anybody more caring, kind and professional."

Joy (Wife of client)

“I am very happy with the services that the girls from Thrive Homecare are providing for me.”

Andrea (Client)

"My mother has recently started receiving support from Thrive Home Care, and our experience has been extremely positive. Mum is 95 and living with dementia. She lives alone and has always been fiercely independent, with little awareness of her need for support. From the first meeting, Emma built a natural rapport with Mum, which was incredibly reassuring. Emma currently visits once a week, with plans to increase support over time."

Barry (Son of client)

“From the moment I met my consultant, Agota, I felt very at ease and comfortable. She explained everything clearly and helped me understand how Thrive could support me. My companion helps me with shopping trips and attending medical appointments. I would highly recommend this service to anyone in a similar situation to mine.”

Adriana (Client)

"Thrive Homecare are very caring and ensure our resident has everything that they need, stimulating activities, working with our home to ensure all needs are met. Companions are kind and respectful and easy to communicate with."

"You came along and took me on adventures I never even dreamed of."
