At Thrive, introducing a person we support to their Health & Wellbeing Associate is about more than just a meeting, it’s about creating genuine connection from the very first visit.
Recently, Health & Wellbeing Community Lead, Miska Grześko, introduced an associate to a client who required some support at home. After careful consideration, the associate was selected as the best match. Both the client and the associate are very gentle and calm people, and the associate’s compassionate nature aligned perfectly with the client’s personality and needs.
To make the induction even more personal, Miska brought along her dog (after checking with everyone beforehand that they were happy with this). Both the client and his wife have a strong love for animals, and they had previously volunteered at The Dogs Trust. The dog helped put everyone at ease and created a warm, positive atmosphere for the induction.

The visit was a delight. The client and his wife immediately hit it off with the associate and felt comfortable enough to open up and share stories about their life together. They enjoyed giving treats, cuddling, and even taking photos with the dog. This shared experience helped put everyone at ease and set a positive start for the relationship to grow.
At Thrive, every introduction is tailored to the individual. By understanding what brings people comfort and joy, involving their interests and hobbies, and thoughtfully matching associates, we build genuine connections that ensure people feel valued, respected, and supported from day one.
