Choosing where to work in care and support is about far more than hours and pay. It’s about values. It’s about feeling supported yourself, so you can genuinely support others. And it’s about knowing that the work you do each day truly matters.
At Thrive Homecare, we do things differently and that starts with how we work together.

Relationships Come First
We believe great support is built on real human connection. That applies just as much to our colleagues as it does to the people we support.
When you join Thrive, you’re carefully matched with the people you’ll be working alongside. This means time to build trust, understand routines, notice the small details, and form meaningful relationships that grow over time. Consistency matters to everyone involved.
You’re Not “Just” Doing a Job
Our Health & Wellbeing Associates aren’t rushed from task to task. Instead, you’re encouraged to focus on what really makes a difference to someone’s day.
That might be a walk to a favourite café, helping someone reconnect with a hobby or interest, supporting confidence after a change in health, or simply being a steady, familiar presence. We value emotional wellbeing just as much as practical support.
Every person you support has a personalised care & wellbeing plan, regularly reviewed, so your work always has purpose and direction.
Support for You, Too
Working in care & support can be incredibly rewarding, but it also needs the right backing. At Thrive, you’re never on your own.
You’ll be supported by a team that listens, checks in, and genuinely cares about how you’re doing. We invest in training that goes beyond the basics, helping you grow in confidence, skills and understanding, especially around wellbeing, dementia and meaningful engagement.
Time to Do Things Properly
We know that wellbeing doesn’t happen on a stopwatch. That’s why we allow time for connection, conversation and those moments that don’t fit neatly into a task list but make all the difference.
It’s often the smallest things that bring the biggest sense of accomplishment, both for the person you support and for you.
A Role With Meaning
Many of our colleagues tell us that working at Thrive has changed how they see care & support. It’s not about “looking after” someone. It’s about walking alongside them, helping them live life in a way that feels good to them.
If you’re looking for work that aligns with your values, gives you a sense of purpose, and allows you to build real relationships, Thrive could be the right place for you.
